Over the past four to five [4-5] years, our country has undergone a dramatic change. It seems that our world has become a bit more dangerous, unsettled and for many uncertain.
Find a news article of an actual event that has occurred within the past four [4] years that you deem as deviant. Briefly summarize your article and apply one of the theories on deviance from Chapter 6, Deviance and Social Control to your selected article. In other words, explain your article based on your chosen theory. Make sure that you also briefly summarize your selected theory.
Finally, based on your observation, provide a possible solution related to your news article [for example, what might have prevented this incident, is it part of a larger issue that exist within our society, etc.?].
