Pick one disorder from each of the following four categories of disorders:
Neurodevelopmental Disorders
Schizophrenia Spectrum and Other Psychotic Disorders
Depressive and Bipolar Disorders
Anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive, and Trauma- and Stressor Related Disorders
Write four well-developed paragraphs, one for each of the 4 disorders you chose. Each paragraph should provide information that answers these four questions about each of your chosen disorders.
Describe the factors and theoretical perspectives related to the development and maintenance of each disorder. [SLO#3]
Explain how social and cultural factors impact the expression of each disorder. [SLO#7]
Explain how biological factors impact the development of each disorder. [SLO#8]
Describe the primary treatment for each disorder. [SLO #4].
