Violence Literature Review

To understand protection, it is essential to understand the causes of violence. For this paper, briefly compare and contrast the various theories of violence we read about in Week 2. For each theory, briefly identify the main logic or explanatory variable for why violence may occur and what kind of violence that explanation predicts. In your conclusion, offer your analysis of what these various theories imply about the ease or difficulty for protecting civilians from violence (i.e., the potential vulnerabilities of armed actors). In other words, how might civilians be protected based on the key mechanics and variables of the different theories of violence?
