First Draft [one page] of your transmedia story due. [Typed, with title and your name, good grammar and punctuation expected.] Final draft is due Feb. 15th.
Guided by the specific requirements outlined in Chapter 2 of Storytelling Across Worlds [due Feb. 10th], and the feedback from your peers in “Writers Room”, outline a story you will work on for the rest of the semester that is deep enough and rich enough for transmedia storytelling.
If your first draft gets long, that’s great; you’ve got plot elements and details already coming to you. But move some of the details to another document to use in the assignments due later [Premise, World, Tone]. Provide a true [short] synopsis here.
Remember, the idea is to give someone an overview of your story and get them interested in reading more.
