This week we began our study of influence and persuasion. Based on what you have learned this week and in previous weeks, write an executive summary for a proposal to change a policy of your choice at a health organization. The goal of this summary is to provide an executive with enough information to make a decision as to whether or not to adopt your policy proposal. Because in this case you are advocating for a particular position, your proposal should be designed to be persuasive (but still fact- and data-driven).
Your executive summary will likely require you to bring in additional sources to support your position. You are welcome to bring in additional sources as needed, especially if they are peer-reviewed. Your summary should follow the best practices you learned about from the Vassallo and James readings in module 1. You should format your executive summary using either the SBAR or the Recommendation Tree format.
