Overview
You will write an 18-22 page research paper, not including the title and reference page, on one of the elections of your choice related to those covered in this class. General election presidential campaigns are excluded. However, presidential primary contests, congressional and gubernatorial campaigns are permitted:

Instructions
The paper must use at least 21 sources and apply current Turabian formatting. In addition to secondary sources, you must use memoirs, biographies, and primary source material such as magazine and newspaper articles. Overall, the paper must identify the particular candidate(s) and present a comprehensive overview of the selected campaign integrating the findings, conclusions, and argumentations of the research you have conducted into your own conclusions about this campaign.
