This Self-assessments paper will give you the opportunity to review what you have learned during your Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner education programs.
Evaluate your clinical skills, and develop the appropriate goals before finishing the nurse practitioner program. It is vital that you identify areas of strength and develop a plan to maintain them, and also recognize areas of weaknesses and develop a plan to enhance them. By doing the self-assessment, you can enhance the areas of strengthen and start thinking about ways that you can contribute your knowledge, skills, and abilities to improve the nursing discipline.
1. Identify at least three of your strengths, why do you consider them, and what you plan to do to maintain them.
2. You will also identify three weaknesses and ways that you will address them.
3. Also, identify three clinical skills that Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner needs to be proficient in practice and how you intend to strengthen them before finishing the program.
4. Finally, analyze the history of advanced practice registered nurses [APRN], the developing role of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specialty area, and what contributions you plan to make to improve the nursing occupation.
