In your essay, compare and contrast the various types of volcanoes and, specifically, the compositions and characteristics of volcanic materials for each. Give specific examples of each type of volcano. How does viscosity of lava differ? How does this influence the shape of each type of volcano? Compare and contrast the various types of volcanic materials (lava flows, pyroclastics, etc.). Compare and contrast the relative dangers of the different types of volcanoes and volcanic events. Give specific examples.
