The Paper [100 points]: The paper will be a 2-page typed-double spaced paper using APA citing and 12’ font and 1 inch margins. On page one you give facts about a social problem that is important to you. Examples could include, but not limited to, Domestic Violence, Child Abuse, Hate Crimes, Discrimination against Gays, Racial Discrimination, Economic Inequalities, Age Discrimination, Human Trafficking, or any other issue you feel passionate about. The second page you will label each section B1, B2, and B3 as you will give 3 factors that increase your social problem. For example, you can say economic problems increases domestic violence. You must have a cover page and bibliography page. That means your paper will be a total of 4 pages. Your paper must be fully APA citied. This means every sentence is cited! You also must have at least 3 difference references! You can’t use Wikipedia. Please see the above in the syllabus on how to cite your references and bibliography page.
Three factors I choose were substance abuse, mental health, and weak communication.
GRADING RUBICS FOR THE PAPER
-1 Per each sentence not cited/cited correctly
-20 no cover page
-20 no reference page; -5 per only 2 references, -10 for only 1 reference.
-5 for each reference on the bibliography page not cited correctly.
-10 points for each missed reference [For example, only 2 references, -10 points].
-20 points for not having each B1, B2, or B3. [so -20 no B1, -40 for no B1 and B2, etc].
-5 Points for each section not labeled B1, B2, and B3 [max -15 points]
