This question asks you to some speculative thinking. Relative to other animals, humans are born especially immature and helpless. For example, human newborns have very poor vision at birth, underdeveloped hearing abilities, and can’t even sit up or hold their heads erect. Indeed, they are completely dependent on their caregivers. In contrast, other animals at birth are much more capable and independent. For example, newborn horses within 30 minutes can stand and walk around.
