The mid-term assignment topic is essentially broad and requires the student to critically and comprehensively think about Terrorism in Modern Society. Your assignment should provide insight into how past terrorist activities have evolved into what we consider modern forms of terrorism. The assignment entails providing an in-depth analysis of how terrorism is affected by historical events, particular groups in society, ideologies and political actors. Further, you should highlight appropriate responses to terrorist acts and counter terrorist measures that have been or could be implemented.
