Cause and effect essay

The cause and effect essay will be looking at patriotism, democracy, and where we are now in the world. There are many influences on patriotism and democracy. What are those influences? And let’s look at the good and bad of patriotism. What are the good things? What are the bad things?How does patriotism and/or democracy unite or divide? What effects have you seen from patriotism and/or democracy in this country that clearly show a division in the past few years? Did social media play a part? Fake news? Politicians? Extremists? In looking at these readings assigned in the module and the questions/discussion above, what do you see as the overall effects of patriotism and/or democracy now and in the future?
