You should select one question, and research and write a research essay of no more than 4,000 words in response to it. You are expected to produce a substantial piece of academic work appropriate to a postgraduate programme (in terms of both form/structure and content), drawing on skills and knowledge you have developed throughout your study of the module.
Your essay should include full references of the sources you use. Please ensure you adhere to the word limit for this assignment, otherwise you will be penalised. The word count excludes titles, tables, bibliography, appendices, tabulations of numerical or linguistic data and their captions and footnotes that are used for citation only. Sub-headings and in-text references are included in the word count.
