1.2 Country Profile Research

 

Overview

 

Your instructor will assign two countries to you for this assignment – a developed country and a developing country. As you progress through the course, you will add relevant information, based on the topics and concepts for the module, to produce a profile for each country.

 

During this module, you will research and discuss the following topics for each of your assigned countries:

 

·         Global burden of disease

• Universal health coverage

 

Adobe Spark. Once you’ve written your summary, you’ll create it in Adobe Spark. You can write your summary directly to a Spark page, but it will be easier to design your page if you have your thoughts already written down.

 

Sign up for a free Adobe Spark account (Links to an external site.), and then read through instructions (Links to an external site.) on how to set up a Spark page.

 

Spark can create all kinds of content. Remember that you want to create a Spark web page, using the blue + sign on the left side navigation on the home page.

 

You must complete this assignment before proceeding to Global Health Synthesis assignment.

2. Research the following information about each country:

d.      Status of universal health coverage. Specifically, discuss the ramifications of the dual (or double) burden of disease (as applicable to either country) in relation to the three dimensions of access to healthcare coverage:
