RUS 2101 Proposal

The “proposal” will be about 1000 words in length. It will outline your ideas for your eventual presentation based on your preliminary study of the sources you’ll be able to find and select. You and your partner will be asked to write briefly what you know about the subject as well as to connect it firmly to the course. You also should outline the basic ideas about what is essential and must make way into your five minutes presentation and what may be left for the handouts or sacrificed altogether if necessary. You should summarise what you have done so far and what your next step will be. The “proposal” won’t be a draft of your actual presentation. it should demonstrate your understanding of the dynamic of your project in progress. You should also provide a list of your sources up to date [there should be at least five of these and only two of them can be from the Internet] although a subsequent changes or additions will be possible.
