- An intro paragraph that states that you are going to briefly discuss the history of ancient Pompeii or Herculaneum and the Roman art style characteristics of one named [and included or linked] work of art from the ancient site. If you can’t find the name of the work of art that is ok just provide me the web address of where I can find it [or an image if possible.] This paragraph can be short and simple. No need for extra info here.
- If you can include an image that is great but not required. The image should be at the top or bottom of the paper and does not count in the page count.
- One or two paragraphs on the basic history of the eruption and/or discovery at Pompeii and Herculaneum.
- One paragraph on a visual description of the work of art chosen. Discuss color, shapes, composition, etc.
- One or two paragraphs on how this work illustrates the Roman art style and what style characteristics and cultural influences you see.
- A conclusion paragraph that sums up your artwork in context of the eruption and history of Mt. Vesuvius.
- A bibliography in proper MLS format
- You should have 3- 5 sources listed that are scholarly. Look for .net and .org websites and please do not use Wikipedia
