-This is where you can use primary and secondary source materials to flesh out the context on your topic.
-Its goal is to show your reader about your justification for researching and writing about this topic. Is the one child policy a significant problem for scholars and communities from an ICJ approach? And if so, why? —–Why is the topic worth researching?
-Once you underline the importance of your research topic/crime/criminal activities or processes, go to the next section “Literature Review.” Use a transitional sentence like “In the next section, “or “In this essay I address …”

“You are expected to submit a full blown critical literature review of the major research done in your topic that includes a compare and contrast approach between the different authors’ viewed points. You must include an initial Introduction of our research topic.
[THE RESEARCH TOPIC IS TERRORISM IN FRANCE.]
A literature review is how we know if the field of International Criminal Justice addresses or not your research theme [known as the “gaping hole” what other students and academics have not emphasized or worst, completed ignore to study. This means that past studies which are built on the footsteps of previous research fails to acknowledge the importance of a research theme such as the crime of genocide. Similarly, a literature review shows how other researchers out there in the field of human rights, genocide, law, anthropology have attempted to answer your research questions……

2. Highlight the concepts you are drawing for your research such as, for example, militarization and militarism or transnational crime.
3. Add your Bibliography, APA style at the end of your essay or any other style but be consistent, whatever style you choose use the same one throughout your work.
4. You must indicate [5] keywords at the beginning of your essay. ”
PT 2 -Literature review: ~1000words
Be sure to revise your original literature review. This section is how the field of International Criminal Justice addresses or not your research theme [known as the “gaping hole” in the literature]. This is how other researchers out there in the field of ICJ have answered your research question.
For example, here you would include your analysis of a key United Nations Report asserting that corruption in the Post-Cold years [today] is a growing transnational crime in general!

Letter Assignment to the General Secretary of the United Nations
The assignment consists of:
a. 1,000-words letter addressed to the General Secretary of the Unites Nations or relevant United Nations’ organization
b. Describe your international criminal justice Research or Mini-Thesis topic/crime/criminal processes and the importance of your work.
c. Make sure that you identify three most important scholars in the field who have been wrong and you are right.
d. In this letter, explain the area you have already decided you want to focus on. Is it Rwanda? Is it about the Coral Reef in China?
What are the two -main human right challenges face today by the groups/population affected by a particular crime, for example trafficked victims?
e. After you explain your research and main findings, urge the United Nations to take action to alleviate the plight of victims and give a solution to the problem at hand.
f. Provide citations [at least 3] at the end of your letter. APA.
