Job Brief

Expected to develop policies, direct and coordinate human resources activities. Such include but not limited to employment, labor relations, compensation, training and benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work structure maintenance through the update of requirements and descriptions of various jobs and analysis of wage and salary reports and data.
  • Preparing employees for tasks by the establishment and conducting orientation and programs for training.
  • Maintenance of the organizational staff through the establishment of a program for recruiting, testing and interviewing potential employees.
  • Consultation with legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with federal and state laws and responding to any inquiries pertaining the same.
  • Overseeing the analysis, maintenance and the communication of records needs by various governing bodies and other departments in the organization.
  • Keeping records of benefit plans participation such as promotions, pension plans, personnel transactions, performance reviews, and transfers.
  • Advising management regarding the appropriate resolution of issues involving employee relations.
  • Preparation of budget for the operations of human resource.
  • Contributing to team effort in the organization through accomplishment of the needed related results
  • Contracting with outside suppliers to provide employee services

Qualifications and skills

  • Proven and relevant experience and excellent organizational skills.
  • A holder of a minimum of a Bachelors degree in HR with masters having an added advantage.
  • High advanced budgeting skills and financial management
  • Knowledge of labor laws
  • Able analysis data and use it to solve real-world HR challenges
  • Outstanding speaking, writing and mathematical skills
  • Have leadership qualities such as trustworthiness, work ethics, and self-confidence
  • Good judgement
  • Positive and creative attitude
