Upper management has asked you to design and execute a training program to teach middle managers best practices for conducting employment interviews. Think about your university career. Describe an instructional technique that you observed in one of your classes that you found to be effective in helping you learn and explain why it was effective. Also describe an instructional technique that you found to be ineffective in helping you learn and explain why it was ineffective.

In Lecture 9 I discussed the myth that ‘learning styles are a myth’ [largely due to the misapprehension of Pashler et al.’s [2009] findings]. Providing evidence from your own university career, discuss whether you believe learning styles exist and students differ in the extent to which they benefit from various instructional techniques.
