Your Task:
In this assessment activity, you are asked to write a 1500 word essay on ONE of the following questions:
- What are some ways in which users can design content to ensure greater spreadability? Write an essay, which explains that factors that research suggests is the most effective for content spreadability. Review Chapter 5 for additional help with this question.
- Is there a cause for concern, as critics suggest, regarding fan cultures that are being used by professional marketing teams as tools for free labour? - In today’s media world, it is often suggested that media platforms are often being used to resist the dominance of mainstream media industries. Do you agree with this statement? Choose a side in this debate and present examples [either positive or negative] that illustrate this relationship between digital platforms and media resistance. Review Chapter 4 for additional help with this question.
